Rosewalk Community
Both Rosewalk and Swanton Hill are residential developments that were part of our urban renewal program. Decatur Housing Authority sold the land to developers to construct these 2 separate developments. One is townhomes and the other is single-family homes. The MARTA line runs under parts of both developments and the Housing Authority sold the underground rights to MARTA for constructing the line. These were the largest new developments in Decatur at the time.
