Decatur Housing (DH) Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Program Waitlist Opening

Decatur Housing (DH) will open its online waitlist for income-restricted apartments under the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program for Village at Legacy - Phase I and Phase II located in Decatur, GA, 30030.

  • The waiting list will be open from Monday, May 12, 2025, through Friday, May 16th, 2025, ONLY.
  • As part of our application screening process, all prospective residents must demonstrate a gross monthly household income of at least 2.5 times the monthly rent. Current rental rates at our community range from approximately $1,000 to $2,000, which means the required minimum monthly income will range from $2,500 to $5,000, depending on the specific unit applied for.
  • Applications will not be accepted BEFORE or AFTER these dates.

The application is available 24 hours a day during this time.

  • Applications must be submitted online ONLY at CLICK HERE
  • Paper applications will not be accepted.
  • Registration is free - DH will never ask for payment or finan­cial information.

FOR MAY 20-27:

Decatur Housing (DH) will open its online waitlist for Project Based Rental Assistance (PBRA) waiting list online for Seniors.

WHO:

  • Applicants must be sixty-two (62) years old or older at the time of application, and have income at or below HUD-specified income limits.

WHEN:

  • The waiting list will be open from 12:01 am on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, through 11:59 pm Tuesday, May 27, 2025, on these seven (7) days only.
  • No applications will be accepted BEFORE or AFTER these dates and times.
  • The online application is available 24 hours a day during the open period.

 

HOW:

  • Applicants must apply online ONLY at CLICK HERE and must provide an email address.
  • Applicants may use a personal computer, public computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone with internet access to apply.
  • Paper applications will NOT be accepted.
  • Registration is free - DH will never ask for payment or financial information.
  • For accommodation (including disability services, translation, or alternative formats), contact Decatur Housing if you cannot apply online without assistance at 404-270-2134 to request assistance, from Tuesday, May 20 through Thursday, May 22, 2025, and Tuesday, May 27, 2025, between the hours of 8:00 AM-5:00 PM during the open period only.
